Day 1: Marrakech-Ait Benhaddou-Ouarzazate-Zagora
Day 2: Zagora- M’hamid
Day 3: M’hamid-Erg Chégaga
Day 4: Chégaga- Foum zguid-Taznakht-Marrakech

Process

29-12-2022 : Marrakech -Zagora
Leaving Marrakech, early in the morning, in 4×4, you will drive the first day stage on the High atlas. Arrival at Ait-Ben-Haddou, visit the kasbah and continue to Agdz. Lunch in the Kasbah of Tamnougalt. Then continue through the Drâa Valley (including 20 km of track), arrival in Zagora, dinner and overnight in our house of hotes.
30-12-2022 : Zagora -M’hamid
After breakfast, departure in 4×4 to M’hamid, stop in Tamgroute to visit the kasbah under ground, the Koranic library and the oldest pottery in the South. Then continue to M’hamid and have lunch.
3pm: departure from M’hamid on the back of dromadaire on a 2 hour hike to reach the bivouac, dinner and overnight in traditional tents.
31-12-2022 : M’hamid-Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, return to M’hamid in dromedary. Then, departure in 4×4 to Erg Chigaga on a 60 km stretch of desert track, stop at L?oasis for lunch and continue to reach the vast desert of Erg Chigaga (300 m altitude). Arrival at the camp, observation of the sunset, dinner with folkloric animation, evening New Year’s Eve and night at the bivouac in traditional tents.
01-01-2023 : Erg Chigaga – Marrakech
After a breakfast in the middle of the desert, departure in 4×4 towards Foum Zguid via the old track of Paris-Dakar and the dry lake of Iriqui. Lunch at Taznakht and continuation to Marrakech. Arrived around 18:30.
